The date for the 5th Sport Legends Trust golf day in Durban has been set for Friday 26th November, 2010 at Royal Durban Golf Club.

The proceeds from these golf days has made it possible to ensure that the Trust has been in a position to assist ex Sportsmen / Sportswomen who may be in financial need. 

Your participation in the golf day would really be appreciated. Please complete the entry form attached and return to me as soon as possible. On receipt of your entry form, an invoice will be forwarded for your early settlement.

This day has become very popular, and many golfers and businesses have requested to be involved, so please respond early.

Sports Legends was initiated and founded as a forum for past Provincial and International sports persons with a view to improving the quality of life of those friends less fortunate than ourselves – through communication and networking in sport.

By way of various activities we wish to retain the camaraderie of the past, thereby adding value and exploring commercial opportunities.  The Trust Fund was set up to assist these sports persons and/or their families financially, in times of need.

By having various activities throughout the country, in the form of Gala dinners and golf days we hope to raise enough funds to maintain and sustain the fund. We obviously welcome any other ideas or donations to raise funds. 

The Trust appeals to you, the individual, or your company, to give something small back to our sportsmen and women of all races, who over the years have become sporting heroes and legends in South African sport.

Your attendance and kind contribution will show the acknowledgement and appreciation for their achievements and memories, to enable us to ensure them a better quality of life – should they require assistance.
