Dear Mr. Clarke

I am writing to you on behalf of my father in law, Tiny Naude.

As you are aware, Tiny has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and although he is generally in good physical health, I am sorry to say that the disease is progressing rather rapidly.

The current level of interest rates have reduced the income Tiny and Miems are receiving from Tiny's retirement investments significantly, causing them to find it hard to make ends meet on a month-to-month basis. Providing for Tiny's long-term care is obviously a major concern at this time, but his children are committed to assisting their parents financially where possible.

I therefore kindly request the Sports Legends Trust to consider providing Tiny and Miems with whatever financial assistance the Trustees deem to be appropriate, and would like to assure you of their appreciation of your interest in their well-being.

A golf Day and dinner was organised to raise funds for Tiny on 16 Feb 2005.

The legendary Ex - Springbok lock is presently residing in Somerset - West. The Springbok Trust Fund, Chris Burger Petro Jackson fund and SLT are actively working on trying to assist Tiny with his problems.
