OUR MISSION STATEMENT
SPORT LEGENDS
was initiated and founded as a forum for past provincial and international sports persons
with a view to improving the quality of life of those friends
less fortunate than ourselves through communication and networking in
sport.
By way of various activities we wish to retain the camaraderie of the
past thereby adding value and exploring commercial opportunities.
The Trust Fund was set up to assist these sports persons and/or their
families financially in times of need.
"To experience, and attempt to conquer, the unique mental and physical challenges presented by sport is highly satisfying; but to pass on our experience and empower those less privileged than ourselves and indeed enrich their lives in many ways ~ is rewarding beyond words"
